Naguri art wall

Inspired by the "Naguri" wood finish, textured fabric walls interact with natural light to create dynamic patterns and a warm, inviting atmosphere. Through a unique folding and heat-setting process, the design blends craftsmanship with material elegance, enriching spaces with depth and character.

Duct cafe

Using rectangular ducts, the space is designed to evoke rooftop mechanical and equipment rooms, with furniture like tables, benches, and counters constructed from them. 

Duct cross barber

The glossy surface of the ducts blends functionality with a sense of luxury, adding dynamic movement throughout the space while reinforcing the overall unity of the design.

Sakan house

As a result, sakan creates a welcoming and serene atmosphere that feels both familiar and peaceful.

Growth and Circulation

inspired by nature’s constant renewal. Bamboo and washi paper were chosen as key materials—bamboo, with its rapid growth and strength, represents continuous personal growth, while washi, born from trees, embodies gentle cycles and renewal.

Brick restaurent

Using simple materials like wood and brick reminiscent of the streets of New York, the space integrates subcultural themes while creating a dynamic environment that evolves with the local community.

Ashiba barber

The design aims to harness the industrial beauty and flexible utility of kusabi ashiba(scaffolding) to bring a fresh narrative to the space.

Tsumiki

I believe there is no need to imitate this method when working with wood. Tsumiki should move away from the idea of masonry and instead draw inspiration from tree branches.

Wood recycling

This design offers a fresh perspective on wood recycling, aiming to create a sustainable urban environment. The wood goes beyond its traditional role as a construction material, symbolizing the integration of nature and city through a process of organic transformation.

Petbottle pavilion

10,000 recycled plastic bottles. The project aimed to give a new purpose to plastic bottles, which are often seen as non-combustible waste.

Bhuthan houses

Traditional Bhutanese dwellings spanned three years and focused on exploring the architectural styles and construction techniques across the western, central, and eastern regions of Bhutan.
